The Obituary of Mr. Thomas Smith

Mr. Thomas Smith was born on April 3, 1943 and departed this life on April 21, 2012 at the age of 69 years. He was born at Stinnett, KY. He was the Son of the late Pearl Smith and the late Oma Morgan Smith. By occupation he was a retired from the Westinghouse Corporation having worked in the Dishwasher Production Line and he also did carpentry work. Mr. Thomas Smith was a resident of Connersville, Indiana before moving here to Leslie County. Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry and gardening all as hobbies. But most importantly he enjoyed being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Thomas Smith was Preceded in Death by his Parents: Pearl & Oma Smith; Brothers: Hobert & Dalton; Grandson: Timothy Shane Foreman; Brother-In-Laws: Bonnell Napier & Raymond Simpson; Sister-In-Laws: Ila Jean Smith & Kathleen Smith.

He leaves surviving the following relatives: His Loving and Devoted Wife: Mary Farler Smith of Wendover, KY.; Daughter: Tammy Rachelle Fraley of Wendover, KY.; Bothers: Clarence Smith & Delores of Dayton, OH., Evert Smith & Annette of East Bernstadt, KY., Orie Smith & Ruby of Dayton, OH. and Ernest Smith & Ann of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Faye Napier of Lake City, FL., Norma Simpson of Helton, KY., Jacqueline Gilbert & Haywood of Stinnett, KY. and Idella Hubbard & Glyn of Williamsburg, KY.; Grandchildren: Ashley Bramble & Lucus and Aaron Foreman; Great Grandchildren: Payton Bramble and Dalton Bramble. Also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Smith will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday ~ April 24, 2012 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Bowling, Glyn Hubbard and Clarence Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Singleton Cemetery at Wendover, KY. Friends may call for Visitation at 6:00 P.M. Monday ~ April 23, 2012 at the funeral home chapel. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Luke Bramble, Bill Morgan, Joe Morgan, Mike Morgan, J.D. Morgan, David Morgan. You may send your condolences to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomesllc.com.
