Mr. Jerry Baker was born on March 8, 1946 in Leslie Co., Ky., and departed this life on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Health Care in Florence, KY. Jerry was 66 years, 1 month & 29 days of age. Jerry was the Son of the late Beecher Baker and the late Mildred Campbell Baker. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Ludlow, Ky. for the past 6 months. He was a Member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ and enjoyed Fishing as a hobby & was an avid UK basketball fan.

Jerry was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Beecher Baker & Mildred Campbell Baker; 1st Wife: Sandra Baker.

He leaves surviving the following relatives: 2 Daughters: Jerri Stephany & Shannon of Ludlow, KY. and Roberta Weisbordt & Kenneth of Newport, Ky.; Brothers: Lowell Baker & Helen of Busy, KY., Mark Baker & Linda of Elmwood, TN., Donald Ray Baker of Dryhill, KY. and Marvin Baker & Shirley of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Evelyn Bridgeford of Hamilton, OH., Barbara R. Colwell & Allen of Busy, KY., Phyliss Baker of Hamilton, OH. and Doshia Baker of Demossville, KY.; 7 Grandchildren & 6 Great-Grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Baker will be conducted at 11:00 A.M.- Friday ~ May 11, 2012 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Wayne Baker & Donnie Melton officiating. The interment will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery in Busy, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Chris Mullikin, David Blakely, Brian Baker, Brandon Baker, Greg Baker and Dwight Baker.
