THE OBITUARY OF MR. JIMMY STIDHAM
Jimmy Stidham 68, of Wooton, Ky., departed this life on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky. Jim was born in Hyden, KY., December 26, 1949 the son of the late, Charles & Esther Collins Stidham. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a former dozer operator-strip mining. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY. Jim enjoyed 4-wheeling, going to the beach, U.K. basketball, car racing & spending time with his family.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Floyd & Mallie Bowling Collins & Jess Stidham & Belle Jones. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving and devoted wife, Janet Smallwood Stidham of Wooton, Ky., & one beloved daughter, Miranda Stidham Fugate & husband, Bracky, Hazard, KY., one treasured granddaughter, Eden Hope Fugate, Hazard, KY., mother-in-law, Elizabeth Smallwood, Also a host of cousins & other relatives & friends survive. The family of Jimmy Stidham would like to take this opportunity to express their heart-felt appreciation to Dr. Chandrana & his staff, the staff & patients at the dialysis clinic & the administrator & staff at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center for their professional, compassionate care, friendship & genuine concern they shared with Jimmy. The Stidham family also wants to acknowledge the following prayer warriors, Rev. Billy Joe Lewis, Rev. Brian Overbee, Rev.. Tim Reynolds & Jim's mother-in-law, Elizabeth Smallwood.
Funeral:Tuesday, November 27, 2018 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.
