Mary Deaton

Mrs. Mary Ruth Deaton born December 28, 1940 departed this life on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital, Hyden, Ky.  She was 77 years old.  Mary was born at Confluence, Ky., the daughter of the late Rufus Coldwell and Ruby Huff Coldwell.   Mary was a former dental assistant and furniture store owner.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafting, & reading.  Mary greatest joy came from spending time surrounded by her family.  Mary was a member of the Victory Mountain Grace Brethren Chapel, Hyden, Ky.  She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Covington, Ky., for 10 years.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one beloved son, Carter Deaton, two brothers Walter Huff & Kenneth Coldwell.   Mrs. Mary Ruth Deaton leaves the following relatives surviving : her loving and devoted husband, Douglas Deaton of Hyden, Ky.,  two beloved daughters, Theresa Adams and husband, David, of Hyden, Ky., Sandy Deaton & James Walker of Busy, Ky., sisters, Janet Feltner & husband, Venna Ray of Daytona Beach, Florida, Judy Feltner & Eddie Osborne of Hyden, Ky., Artie Brock and husband, Fred of Camden, Ohio, Jeanne Roman and husband Hubert of Camden, Ohio, three treasured grandchildren, Tessa Pace & Dalton Blevins of Stinnett, Ky., Brian Adams and wife, Lindsey of Perryville, Missouri, Byron Adams of Perryville, Missouri, six treasured great, grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
