Freddie Joe Collett was born October 20, 1952 in Bell County and departed this life Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital, being 65 years of age. He was the son of the late Elmer & Delora (Mosley) Collett.
Freddie is survived by his loving wife, Rita Collett of Tyner and by two children, Julie Stith and her husband Benjamin of Irvington, and Joseph Collett and his wife McKenzie of Richmond. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Jalie McQueen, Jacob Stith, Liam Collett, Cordelia Collett and Roman Collett. He is also survived by the following siblings, Earl (Mary) Collett of Stinnett, Kenneth (Lovela) Collett of Dry Ridge, John (Carolyn) of London, Fern Maxwell of Jacksboro, TN, Rosetta (Steve) Sizemore of Barbourville, Marcus (Emily) Collett, Joyce (Eugene) Hundley, Doyle Collett and Gerald (Mason) Collett all of Essie. 
In addition to his parents, Freddie was also preceded in death by three siblings, Pauline Collett, Edith Collett and Susan Holland. 
Freddie was a member of the Bowens Creek Baptist Church in Essie. 
Funeral service 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Bowens Creek Baptist Church in Essie, KY with Bro. Taylor Adams officiating. Burial to follow in the Collett Cemetery at Essie, KY. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2018 at the  Lakes Funeral Home in McKee, KY. & also Tuesday @ 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at the Church. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
