Brandy Brock

Brandy Marie Brock was born February 1, 1987 and went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2018. She dedicated her life to the Lord at a young age and attended church with her parents, grandparents, and several other family members and friends at New Hope Baptist Church and Little Zion Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her precious children, her extensive family, and all her friends. She loved animals, fishing, swimming, camping, boating, four-wheeling, riding motorcycles, bonfires, and a wide variety of music. She always wanted everyone around her to have fun and be happy.

She is survived by the love of her life and soulmate Steven Folsom, his parents Amber and Antonio Bartlett, his siblings Lamandia Folsom, Jaysun and Stephi Bergstresser, and Zack and Chyenne Bergstresser. Her beautiful children Ty Gissara, Justisse Garrett, and Amylah Folsom. Her loving parents David and Melissa Brock, her other mother Lanett Diaz, brothers Michael Atkins and Tyler McClellan, and sister Marci Cobb. Grandparents Virginia Cox (also her other mother), Molly Whitcomb, Gilbert Simpson, and Ida Mae Turner.

Aunts and Uncles Oleen and Ellis McKnight, Eddie and Cathy Simpson, Tammy Johnson, Wayne and Jenna Simpson, Helen Baker, Tonya Sheroan, Linda and Chris Chittenden, and she adored her great uncle “Bug” (Alonzo) and great aunt Peggy Howard. She had so many other wonderful aunts and uncles that she loved so very much.

She was dearly loved and adored by many nieces and nephews. Micah Cox, Marissa Cox, Makyle Cox, Reece Atkins, Montana Cobb, Myanna Cobb. They all loved their beautiful “Aunt Me”. Also, Byleahia, LaNijea, LaJuan, Daitwon, and Channese were precious to her as well.

She was very close to her cousins Brandon McKnight, Leslie McKinney, Nathan Sullivan, Cassie Sheroan, Breanna White, Glen Howard, and Misty Howard. She had too many wonderful cousins to list them all.

 She was preceded in death by Stephen McClellan, Brandon McKnight, John Cox, Jerry Whitcomb, Jocelyn Myrtle, Edgar Matt Baker, Lee Sheroan, and Jaysun “Fatboy” Bergstresser.

 In lieu of flowers donations to the funeral homes for services will be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel from 4pm – 8pm.  Sunday, September 16, 4pm -8pm at Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, Kentucky with funeral service Monday @ 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Bowling officiating and burial will follow at the Howard Family Cemetery in Hyden, KY.
