Earl Fields

Mr. Earl Fields age 96, of Corbin, KY, formerly of Hyden, born March 24, 1922 departed this life on Friday, August 17, 2018.  Earl was born at Maces Creek in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of the late James Monroe Fields And Ollie Maggard Fields.  Earl was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served honorably in World War II.  He was united in marriage to Gloria Caudill on September 21, 1948.  Earl had a very distinguished career in local politics.  He was elected & served 6 terms as the Leslie County Court Clerk.  He also taught school in the Leslie Co. School System and was employed as a store clerk.  He enjoyed bee keeping & was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Earl's  greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  He was a member of the West Corbin Chirstian Church, Corbin, KY.   Earl leaves the following relatives suriviving: his loving & devoted wife, Gloria Caudill Fields of Corbin, KY, 1 beloved son, Fred Fields and Stella of London, KY, 5 beloved daughters, Diann Hoskins & Delaney of London, KY, Mary Phillips & Dale of Oil Springs, KY, Kay Hensley & Jeff of London, KY, Marsha Maggard & Jack of London, KY,  Kim Dugger & James of Corbin, KY. 1 brother, James Monroe Fields, Jr. & Mary Lee of TN.  Also survived by 13 treasured  grandchildren: Tracy Bowling & David, Jared Fields & Kayla, Nick Fields & Brittany, Nathan Phillips & Fiancee Jessica, Gloria Hensley, Ollie Hensley, Chelsey Maggard & Fiance Kameron Jones, Justin Maggard, Sammy Maggard, Andrea Dugger, Alan Dugger, Kevin Dugger and Joseph Dugger, 8 treasured, Great Grandchildren: Robin Collett, Casey Collett, Adalyn Fields, Ayden Fields, Alayna Fields, Enoch Monroe Fields, Joshua Dugger and Kylie Dugger. Mr. Earl Fields leaves surviving a host of other relatives and friends.

1:00 P.M. - Monday-August 20, 2018 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home  at Hyden, KY
VISTATION:
6:00 p.m. - Sunday-August 19, 2018 at the funeral home chapel.
