Ruth Napier

Mrs. Ruth Napier, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. at the age of 96. Ruth was born, March 12, 1922 in Leslie Co., KY. the daughter of the late, Willie Callahan & Clara Collins Callahan. Ruth was a loving & devoted homemaker. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Ruth was a member of the Grassy Branch Church of Christ at Busy, KY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, feeding the birds, quilting, flower gardening & going to Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Basel Napier, granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Deaton, a host of brothers & sisters & son-in-law, Edgar Muncy. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 4 beloved sons, Basel Edwin Napier (Marjorie) of Carrabella, FL., Billy Napier (Kathy) of Somerset, KY., Roger Napier of Hyden, KY. & Marshall Napier (Tronda) of Hyden, KY., 3 beloved daughters, Claudette England (John) of Port St. Lucie, FL., Kayren Muncy of SouthPort, NC. & Mona Deaton (Dwayne) of Hyden, KY., 14 treasured grandchildren, 23 treasured great grandchildren & 8 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
