Mollie Morgan

Mollie Dixon Morgan born December 22, 1934, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. at the age of 83. Mollie was born in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, James Dixon & Stella Cornett Dixon. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Mollie was a retired cook for the Stinnett Elementary School at Stinnett, KY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, quilting & sewing.

Mollie was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Norman Morgan, beloved son, Jerry Allen Morgan, brothers, Wilson, Harold, James Jr. & Roosevelt Dixon & sisters, Nell Wilson, Susan Boggs, Grace Sturgill, Rose Sturgill & Ruth Kelly. She leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved son, Jeffrey Morgan & Susan Miller, London, KY., beloved daughter, Anita Gabbard & Steve, Lost Creek, KY., daughter-in-law, Deborah Morgan, Stinnett, KY., special granddaughter, Stephanie Shepherd & Josh, Lost Creek, KY., grandsons, Tristan Begley & Matthew Morgan, Stinnett, KY., granddaughter, Megan Hill, Winchester, KY., sister, Daisy Wells, Georgetown, KY., brother, Nesby Dixon, Fairfield, OH., great grandsons, Tatum Moore & Cameron Shepherd & great granddaughter, Jacey McClees. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
