Homer Hoskins, of Asher, KY. passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY., at the age of 92. Homer was born November 29, 1925 at Asher, KY., the son of the late, Ben Hoskins & Julia Ann Collett Hoskins. Homer had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired logger. Homer was affliated with the Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed hunting, music & singing & spending time with his family.
Homer was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nora Collett Hoskins, daughters, Ruth Hall & Geraldine Roark & grandsons, Alfred L. Hall, Claude Hall & J.C. Roark, Jr. He leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved son, Eddie Dean Hoskins & Helen, Asher, beloved daughters, Faye Bowling, Asher, KY., Eyvonne Hoskins, Asher, KY., Melissa Hubbard & Nathan, Asher, KY. & Christine May & special son-in-law, James, Thousandsticks, KY., 11 grandchildren, Lenora Howard, Tommy Hubbard & Angela, John William Mitchell Hoskins, Pam Collett & Michael, Deanna Ford & Chas, Andrew Ford, Chase Ford, Bridgett Maxey & Ron, Joshua Todd May & Tiffany, Mitchell Hoskins & Homer Steven Hoskins. A host of great grandchildren. Special granddaughter, Deanna Ford & Special great granddaughter, Harley Howard; best friend, Joe Hubbard. A host of other relatives & friends also survive.
