Mrs. Marie Bentley Bray born April 7, 1933 departed this life on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hyden, Ky. She was 85 years old. Marie was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Bige Bentley & Sophia Morgan Bentley. Marie was a homemaker & life-long resident of Leslie Co. Marie was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, Ky., She enjoyed cooking, gardening, & her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and listening to her police scanner. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband; George Bray, & three brothers; Bige Jr., Woodrow & Wiley Bentley. Mrs. Marie Bentley Bray leaves the following relatives surviving; one beloved son; Tommy Bray of Hyden, Ky., two beloved daughters; Wanda Jo Hensley & husband, Jamie, of Hyden, Ky., Mary Sealy & husband, Ernest of Hyden, Ky., one brother; Bonnell Bentley and wife, Elva of Wooton, Ky., one sister; Lucille Doyle and husband, Ed, of Daytona, Florida, tow treasured grandchildren; Kaitlin Bray, Tammie Jo House, one treasured great, granddaughter; Ashley House Sharp & husband Matthew and a host of other relatives and friends.
SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. - Tuesday- May 8, 2018 at ther Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Hyden, KY
OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Ray Brewer, Brian Overbee and Willie Garrett Morgan
VISITATION: 6:00 p.m. Monday- May 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
