Wanda Farney

Wanda Farney, 66 passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. She was born on August 7, 1951 in Deptford, New Jersey the daughter of the late Arnold Gibson and the late Ellen Borchmann Gibson. By occupation Wanda had been a foster parent having raised 147 foster children. Wanda was a caring and dedicated mother to many foster children and especially to her own children whom she enjoyed taking good care of. She had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 20 years and she enjoyed sewing, drawing and going to Wal-mart. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Clara Gibson, Carleeta Gibson, one brother; Ruie Gibson. She leaves surviving the following relatives: five sons: Phillip Mosher, Jr. of Hindman, KY, Kurtis Mosher of Hyden, KY, Stanley Mosher of Hazard, KY, Devin Mosher and Hunter Mosher both of Hyden, KY, three daughters: Tina Mosher of Hyden, Ky, Phyllis Mosher of New Jersey, Mariah Mosher of Hyden, Ky, three sisters: Deborah Wentzell of New Jersey, Lois, Lorraine Day, one brother; Jerry Borchmann, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
