Michael Muncy

David Michael Muncy of Richmond, KY. formerly of Hyden, KY. passed away on Monday March 12, 2018 at his residence at the age of 50. Michael was born July 10, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Judy Lykins Muncy & the late, David Muncy. Michael had been a resident of Richmond, KY., for the past 2 years. He had previously lived and worked  in Lexington & Hyden, KY. Michael was a retired School Administrator having worked in Special Education & School Psychology. He was a School Psychologists Specialist having his Masters & Rank I degree,  & Specialist with Division of Special Educaton Certification.  Michael was a member of several distinguished education organizations; including Member of Council of Exceptional Children, KY. Assn. of School Administration, Council for Support & Advancement of Education & National Assn. of School Psychologists. Michael enjoyed geneology, reading & boating. Michael received his greatest pleasure from spending time with his family.  He was affliated with the Southland Christian Church of Lexington, Ky.

David Michael was preceded in death by his loving & devoted father, David Muncy, paternal grandparents, Harry & Mae Muncy & maternal grandparents, Hubert & Lula Lykins. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving & devoted mother, Judy L. Muncy, Hyden, KY., husband, Danny Neal Fannin, Richmond, KY., son, Andrew Lee Muncy, Richmond, KY., brother, Todd Muncy & Tina, Manchester, KY., 2 nieces, Lani Muncy Huff & Jaimie Muncy, his dog, Maggie Mae Muncy. Also a host of cousins, other relatives & friends survive.
