Lester Rice of Sizerock passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 59. Lester was born in Leslie Co., KY., on October 6, 1958, the son of the late, Andrew Rice & Edith Mae Williams Rice. He had been a resident of Sizerock for the past 3 years. He had previously lived in Florida & Ohio. By occupation he was a auto mechanic. Lester enjoyed mechanic work, practical jokes & enjoyed spending time with his family.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Paul & Silas & 1 sister, Joy Bell. He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted wife, Bessie Smallwood Rice, Berea, KY., beloved son, Randy Wayne Rice, Georgia, beloved daughter, Heather Fowler, Georgia, 2 brothers, Herman Rice & Brenda, Manchester, KY. & David Rice & Martha, Hyden, KY., 3 sisters, Linda Herald & Gary, Haddix, KY., Pauline Parks & Roger, Annville, KY. & Kathleen Osborne, Sizerock, KY. & 3 grandchldren, Tyler Wayne, Caleb & Kelsey. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
