Kathleen Bowling Pennington of Hyden, KY. passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at her residence at the age of 77. Kathleen was born September 19, 1940 in Hyden, KY. the daughter of the late, Shilo & Bessie Feltner. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was a retired cook for the Leslie Co. Board of Education. Kathleen was a devoted member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, Hyden, KY. She enjoyed cooking for her family, reading & spending time with her family especially her grandchildren
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents & 4 brothers, Gillous, Herman, Paul & Andrew Feltner. She leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted husband, Ray Pennington, Hyden, KY., 3 sons, Roger Bowling & Lisa, Stinnett, KY., Danny Bowling & Charlotte, Berea, KY. & Kenneth Pennington & Mary, Hyden, KY., 3 daughters, Thelma Wright & Jeff, Hyden, KY., Linda Bowling & Carl Brown, Jr., Hyden, KY. & Patty Loudy & Bobby, Maryville, TN., 3 brothers, Lida Feltner & Isabelle, Hyden, KY., Wade Feltner, Hyden, KY. & Onzie Feltner & Margaret, Hyden, KY., 4 sisters, Ruth Lewis, Hyden, KY., Betty Lewis & Jimmy, Hyden, KY., Rhoda Souder, Hyden, KY. & Fannie Feltner, Hyden, KY., 13 grandchildren, Roger Brian Bowling & Jessica, Brandy Kidd, Crystal Wright, Justin Wright, Scottie Bowling, Brittney Bowling, Ashley Rohr, Chase Hollen & Allison Brown, Devin Adams & Tori, Casey Adams & Kayla Stacy, Zachary Stacy, Anthony Brown & Nicholas Joseph, 8 greatgrandchildren, 2 grandchildren she raised as her own, Trenton Day & Jadyn Rohr. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
