Lorraine Callahan, 58, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Jean Waddle Care Center, Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on March 12, 1959, daughter of the late Dennis and Dophia Madden Callahan. She was an office manager for Beltone.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Williams of Science Hill, two daughters, Crystal Melton & (Byron) and Nikki Williams & (Joey Vaughn), all of Somerset, five brothers, Jim Callahan & (Mia), Arthur Callahan & (Wanda) and Lonnie Callahan, all of Essie, KY, Ken Crawford & (Janice) of La Follette, TN and Roy Callahan & ( Judy) of Chaplin, KY, three sisters, Lucy Napier & (Clark) of Hyden, KY, Eva Belcher & (Guice) of Stinnett, KY and Patricia Shepherd & (Phillip) of London, KY, special companion, Darrell Ping of Somerset, six grandchildren, Kaylie Williams, Brayden Williams, Trinity Melton, Hayley Carrender, Lori Mae Vaughn and Emilee Vaughn. Lorraine is also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews, relatives and friends .
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Roger Madden and Gary Crawford and one sister, Kathleen Drew.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, January 29, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lorraine Callahan Memorial Fund.
