Mr. Donald "Donnie" Begley born April 4, 1946 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Robert "Rob" & Edith Browning Begley. He departed this life on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. at the age of 71. Donnie had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. by occupation he was a truck driver. Donnie served honorably in the United States Army. Donnie was affliated with the Anna C. Brush Presbyterian Church, Dryhill, KY. He enjoyed cooking, working with his hands, loved to read, four wheeling & spending time with his friends.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Rob & Edith Begley, 2 beloved sons, Dana Lee Begley & Donald Dwayne Begley & 4 brothers, Steve, David, Doug & Vernon Begley. He leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved son, Justin Allen Begley, Meridian Idaho, companion, Deborah Cook, Hindman, KY., 2 brothers, Edward Begley & Louise, London, KY. & James Begley & Brenda, Confluence, KY. sisters, Shirley White & Bernie, Marshall, MI., Bonnie Lucas & Phillip, Bowling Green, KY. & Bettie Johnson & Jerry, Dryhill, KY., 2 treasured grandsons, Belve Dwayne Begley & Donald Joshua Begley, 1 treasured granddaughter, Sara Begley, 3 great grandchildren, special friend, Rod Maggard. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
