Mr. Malcom "Toby" Morgan born January 2, 1930 departed this life on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his residence on Hurricane Road, Hyden, Ky. He was 87 years old. Toby was the son of the late, Oscar & Alice Cornett Morgan. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was a retired coal miner. Toby also possessed other talents. He was a master wood-worker & musician. He was an hunter & fisherman & he loved wildlife and animals.
Toby was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Delmer, Willie & Ed Morgan & 3 sisters, Dolphie Farler, Viola Moffet & Dorothy Cornett. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, of 67 years, Grace Farley Morgan, Hyden, KY., 1 brother, Ken Morgan & Peggy, Connersville, IN., 2 sisters, Carolyn Morgan, Connersville, IN. & Alice Morgan, Hyden, KY., special nephew, Roy Farler & Barbara, Wendover, KY., special nieces, Shelia Smith, Middlesboro, KY. & Lisa Morgan, Lexington, KY., special friends, Clifton Bowling & Patsy, Hyden, KY., caregivers, Irene & Rita Farley & his dog, Mandy. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. The family would like to say a special thank-you and express their sincere appreciation to the Medicine Shoppe in Hyden for their thoughtfulness & kindness.
