Carol Ann (Wolf) Joseph entered into eternal peace on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
Carol was born in Peru on March 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Noah E. Wolf and Betty A. (Landis) Robertson. She married John Henry Joseph in January, 1967. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1997 after 30 years of marriage.
Carol attended North Miami High School, graduating in 1965. She was a member of the Apostolic Chapel in Peru, Indiana, dedicated to her church and family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing bingo, and working on crafts at home. After she and John married, they lived in Wabash, then moved to Kentucky, where they raised their children. After John’s death, Carol moved back to Peru to be close to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
She is survived by her three children, son John (Clem) Joseph (wife Becky) of Peru, daughter Polly Harris (companion Jim Harris) of Kentucky, son Gregory Joseph (wife Karen) of Peru, and stepson Robert Higdon (wife Petchy) of Peru. Also surviving are grandchildren Rachel Oakes (Chris), John Frazier, Naney Miller (Matt), Mashell Ruper (David), Morgan Clevenger (Brandon), Beth Cummings, Joann Brunk, Abby McIntosh, Rainbow Joseph, Sammi Joseph, Chris Higdon, Jacob Higdon, Robert Higdon, Justin Perarg, Becky Harris, and Ashley Harris (companion Bobby). Also, great-grandchildren Destiny, Henry and Harmonie, Brycen and Cyren Oakes, Chloe, Lona, and Jayden Roper, Cayden and Addie Miller, and Michael Clevenger. Also surviving are sisters Linda Malott of Denver, Lana Jaberg (Brian) and Ellen King (Jerry) of Peru. Also, several nieces and nephews, cousins and church family.
Services will be held at the Apostolic Chapel, 760 Jackson, Peru on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Visitation will be from 3pm – 6pm at the church. Funeral service will follow at 6pm, with Pastor Brent Wedding officiating. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2pm at the Baker Family Cemetery in Cutshin, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Chapel, 760 Jackson, Peru, Indiana, through Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
