Gracie Stidham

Mrs. Gracie Hoskins Stidham departed this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her residence, Ky. Highway # 80, Wooton, Ky.  She was 89 years old.   Gracie was born in Leslie County, KY, on April 28, 1928, the daughter of the late, Spence Hoskins & Alice Ford Hoskins. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co., Gracie enjoyed taking care of her children & grandchildren, fishing, cooking & housekeeping.

Gracie was preceded by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Hobert Stidham, 2 sons, Richard & Jim & his wife, Gayle, 1 daughter, Genelle, 3 sisters, Goldie & her husband, Marvin, Rose & Sally & 3 brothers, Shade & his wife, Polly, Willie & Omato & his wife, Katherine. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 3 daughters, Lola Turner & husband, Enos of Wooton, KY. & Sue Combs, Harlan, KY., Shirley Benton of Wooton, KY, 1 son, Mike Stidham & wife, JoAnn, Harlan, KY., 1 step daughter, Cora Calloway, TN., 1 step granddaughter, Rebecca Turner, IN., 1 brother, Henry Hoskins & Betty, Wooton, KY., close friend, Mallie Mitchell, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Thursday, December 7, 2017 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
