Mr. Homer"Pujoe" Couch departed this life on Nov. 17, 2017 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 78. He was born on Feb. 2, 1939 at Bear Branch, KY, the son of the late Cooney Couch and the late Stella Couch. Pujoe was a retired coal truck driver and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. He enjoyed listening to & playing bluegrass music, singing, riding 4-wheelers and especially spending time with his family. Mr. Homer "Pujoe" Couch was a devoted member of the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents Cooney & Stella Couch, his loving and devoted wife; Jessie Couch, one beloved daughter: Deborah,beloved grandson: Jesse, 3 brothers: Paul, Alonzo, and Arville, 5 sisters: Maultie, Mae, Molly, Mary and Mandy. Pujoe leaves surviving the following relatives: 2 treasured sons: Eddie Carl "Toot" Couch & Tammy of Bear Branch, KY, Jeffery Couch & Michelle of Bear Branch, KY, special Nephew: Donnie "Pepsi-Cola" Couch of Bear Branch, KY, 3 grandchildren: Andrew Couch & Phronie, Amanda Couch & Cody Coots, and Jordan Couch & Lou, 2 great grandchildren: Brailyn Hall and Lelan Jesse Couch, and one to be born.
