Kenny Joe Adams passed away at the Central Baptist Health Hospital, Lexington, KY. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 44. He was born at Hazard, KY on April 9, 1973 the son of Joe and Anita Adams. By occupation he was a former Coal Miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Kenny Joe was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Gordon, KY. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, street bikes, target practice, guns, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his son Wyatt. Kenny Joe was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Gordon & Eunice Adams Maternal Grandparents: Cleve & Oma Turner, mother and father-in-law: Elmer & Ruby Baker Wells. He leaves surviving the following relatives: loving & devoted wife: Rittie Lynn Wells Adams of Smilax, Ky, treasured son: Wyatt Elmer Cole Adams of Smilax, KY, beloved parents: Joe & Anita Adams of Wooton, KY, one brother: Ronnie Adams & Paula of Wooton, Ky Nephews: Brandon Adams of Stinnett, KY, Derek Adams of Hyden, Ky and great nephew Gage Adams. 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday - October 24, 2017 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, KY

6:00 P.M. - Monday - October 23, 2017 at the funeral home chapel.
