Farris Burton

Farris Burton of Hyden, Ky. passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 57. Farris was born in Hyden, KY. on December 10, 1959 the son of the late, Doug & Ruth Lewis Burton. He was a life-long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a retired employee for the Leslie County Telephone Co.-TDS. Farris was affliated with the Wooton Baptist Church, Wooton, KY. & was a member of the Hyden Masonic Lodge #664. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting, gardening & mechanic work. Farris was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Michael Burton & brother, James Burton. He leaves the following relatives surviving, sisters, Katherine Pennington & Bill, Richmond, KY. & Henrietta Burton & Jeff Bowling, Hyden, KY., granddaughter, Candace Sizemore & Steven, great grandson, Lucas Ott Sizemore, niece, Heather Begley & Jeff, nephews, Gustavo Alfaro, Joshua Alfaro & James Steven Burton, Special Companion, Valerie Kristoss, also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Friday, October 20, 2017 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
INTERMENT:
Burton Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Thursday, October 19, 2017 @ 6:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites @ 7:00 at the Funeral Home Chapel
