Martha Regenia Begley

Mrs. Martha Regenia Begley, wife of Alexander passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at her residence in Richlands, VA. at the age of 68. Regenia was born in Hyden, KY., on March 22, 1949, the daughter of Christine Caldwell Combs  & the late, Albert Rice. Regenia had been a resident of Richlands Virgina for the past 4 1/2 years coming from Hyden, KY. By occupation Regenia was a retired school teacher for the Leslie Co. School System for 27 1/2 years where she taught English & English Literature. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, writing, nature, vacationing & cooking.

Regenia was preceded in death by her father, she leaves the following relatives surviving, Loving & Devoted mother, Christine Combs, Hazard, KY., loving & devoted husband, Alexander Begley, Richlands, VA., one beloved son, Jeff Begley & wife, Heather, Richlands, VA., one brother, Paul Rice & Roberta, Hyden, KY., two sisters, Kathryn Bailey, Confluence, KY. & Sandra Johnson, Hazard, KY., two treasured grandchildren, Kaleb Alexander Hetch Begley & Noah James Begley., best friends, Joan Miniard Compton, Becky Couch, Kathy Slusher, Mollie Sizemore, Kathy Henry, Sharon Howard Mosley & the staff at the Leslie County High School. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends .

Saturday, October 14, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
