James D. Belt, passed away at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital, in Hyden, KY. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the age of 65. James was born on September 9, 1952 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Eugene & Helen Belt. James had been a life-long resident of Leslie County.

James was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harold Belt & sister, Thelma Causey. He leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 sons, Dustin Belt, Wooton, KY. & James "Jamie" Belt, Wooton, KY., 2 brothers, Kenneth Belt, Hazard, KY. & Larry Belt, London, KY., 2 sisters, Shirley Belt, Hazard, KY. & Lisa Belt, FL., 2 grandsons, Dustin James Aaron Belt & Adam Carson Belt & 1 granddaughter. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Tuesday, September 19, 2017 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
INTERMENT:
Brewer Cemetery, Wooton, KY.
