Stanley Lewis

Stanley Lewis of Bledsoe, Ky. passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 73. Stanley was born at Chappell, KY., on January 20, 1944, the son of the late, John Henry Lewis & the late, Lucy Caldwell Lewis. Stanley had been a life-long resident of Chappell & Bledsoe, KY. By occupation he was a retired coal miner & logger. He was a member of the Green Hills Community Church at Bledsoe, KY. He enjoyed spending time with his family, coon & rabbit hunting with his dogs, wood working & ATV riding. 

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Logan Jr., Orie & Chester Lewis & sisters, Sally Nantz & Marie Middleton. He leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 beloved sons, Kenneth Lewis, Somerset, KY. & Bobby Lewis, Bledsoe, KY., 1 beloved daughter, Gina Lewis Pope & Jonathan, Richmond, KY., mother of children, Patsy Lewis Goddard, Bledsoe, KY., 3 sisters, Rose Tolliver, Bledsoe, KY., Lola Turner, Putney, KY. & Nancy Harris, Richmond, IN., 4 treasured grandchildren, Dustin Lewis, Derek Lewis, Bledsoe, KY., Jessica Pope & Jonathan Michael Pope, Richmond, KY., nephew & best friend, Paul Nantz. He was especially close to all his nieces & nephews.
