Robert B Asher

Robert B. Asher was born on November 18, 1921, passed away on July 20, 2017 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 95.  Robert was born in Hyden, Kentucky, the son of the late John Asher & Rose Hoskins.  Robert had a very distinguished military career having served honorably in the U.S. Navy & Merchant Marines during World War II.  He was employed as a machinist & contractor during his life-time.  Mr. Robert B. Asher was preceded in death by his parents, mother of his children; Ruth Morgan Asher, & three brothers; Carlo, Eugene & Johnny Asher.  Mr. Robert B. Asher leaves the following relatives surviving; one beloved daughter; Polly Rosenblatt & husband, Thomas of Woodville, Mississippi, one son; Robert Lyell Asher & wife, Susan of Portland, Oregon, one sister; Carolyn Fromuth of Miami, Florida, four treasured grandchildren; Lindsay Rosenblatt & wife, Lauren, Mary Pace Rosenblatt, William & Myra Rosenblatt & Olivia Ruth Asher, along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends.  

TIME AND PLACE OF FUNERAL: 
 A Memorial Service will be announced & conducted a future date by the Asher Family.
