Carlos Adams

Carlos Adams, of Wooton, KY.  was born on December 4, 1944, in Leslie County, KY., the son of the late, Theo & Lula Baker Adams. He passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Blue Grass Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Health Care in Lexington, KY. at the age of 72. Carlos had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, by occupation he was a retired coal miner having worked for Blue Diamond Coal Co. for over 30 years. Carlos was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Vietnam War. He was affliated with the Solid Rock Bible Chapel. Carlos enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting & fishing.

Carlos was preceded in death by,parents, brothers, Coy & Curt Adams & sister, Essie Faye. He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted wife, Irene North Adams, Wooton, KY., daughters, Tena Adams & Anthony, Lexington, KY. & Sherry Morgan & Jeff, Wooton, KY., brothers, Johnny Adams, Wooton, KY., Wesley Adams & Betty, Wooton, KY. & Troy Adams, Wooton, KY., sisters, Clearsie Spencer, Hazard, KY., Lela Miller, Dwarf, KY. & Ellen Brewer, Wooton, KY., special grandson, Tyler Allen Morgan & special great grandson, Braidyn Allen Morgan.




FUNERAL: Sunday, July 23, 2017 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
MINISTERS: Rev. Terry Joseph, Doug Adams & Larry Callahan
INTERMENT: Adams Cemetery, Wooton, KY.
Full Military Rites will be performed by the Leslie Co. DAV Chapter #133
PALLBEARERS: Jeff Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Steven Adams, Anthony Adams, Willie Adams, Wendell Adams, Dougie Adams & Cody Adams
VISITATION: Saturday, July 22, 2017 @ 5:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
