William “Bill” Hubbard, age 78 of London, KY, husband of Molly Ann Hubbard, passed away on Monday, June 19 at St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.
Along with his wife, he leaves behind four children, William Hubbard Jr. of London, KY, Bruce Sterling Hubbard and wife Connie of Asher, KY, Janet Mosley of London, KY, Brian Philip Hubbard of Hyden, KY; six siblings, Henry Hubbard of Grand Blanc, MI, Millard “Buffer” Hubbard Jr. and wife Rebecca of Lewisburg, TN, Carl Hubbard of Keavy, KY, Ella Jean Dixon of Calhoun, GA, Laura Sue Collett of Keavy, KY, Viola Baker and husband Bill, also of Keavy, KY; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; special friends, George Hoskins and John “Fox” Fields, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Hubbard & Laura Hoskins Hubbard; step-mother, Blanche Hubbard; two siblings, Zola Oden, Dennis Fee; daughter-in-law, Veronica Hubbard; sister-in-law, Nancy Hubbard and two brothers-in-law, Eugene Dixon and Warren Collett.
He was a retired truck driver with the GM company and owner/operator of his own trucking company. He was of the Pentecostal faith and will forever be remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral services for William “Bill” Hubbard will be conducted on Thursday, June 22 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Andrew B. Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, also at the funeral home.
