Geraldine Rice

Geraldine Rice of Buckhorn, KY., was born on October 4, 1946, in Oneida, KY., the daughter of the late, Dave Butler & the late, Lottie Marcum Butler. She passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 70. Geraldine had been a resident of Buckhorn for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Rock Bottom Baptist Church. Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, playing games & watching t.v.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, son, Dave Hall & sisters, Minnie Neil & Darlene Webb. She leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted husband, Aster Rice, Buckhorn, KY., 3 daughters, Brenda Hall & Jimmy Spencer, Georgetown, KY., Audrey Couch & Ernest, Buckhorn, KY. & Kathleen Henson & Scott, Manchester, KY., 1 brother, Dick Butler & Martha Lou, Oneida, KY., 4 sisters, Peanut Caudill, London, KY., Stella Davidson & James, Manchester, KY., Genniv Hensley & Alfred, Barbourville, KY & Betty Jo Younts, Corbin, KY., 7 grandchildren, Kayla Philpot, Amanda Spurlock, Jessica Spurlock, Audrey Anna Philpot, Zeke Henson, Ashley Henson & Gracie Henson, 2 great-grandchildren, Addison & Mavrick Couch. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
