Mrs. Cledia Brock Taylor born July 8, 1929 departed this life on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Ky. She was 87 years old. Cledia was born at Saylor, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry Brock & Tishia Mosley. Cledia was a former sales clerk at the Elam's department store in Hyden, Ky., and a caretaker. Cledia was of the Pentecostal faith and was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., with the exception of living in Whitesburg, Ky for a short period of time. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of the elderly & visiting with friends. Cledia was preceded in death by her parents, loving and devoted husband, Charlie Taylor, brothers; Manuel Brock, Carl Brock, sisters; Dorothy Saylor, Evelyn Brock & Berendia Brock. Mrs. Cledia Brock Taylor leaves the following relatives surviving: three beloved sons; Estel Taylor of Whitesburg, Ky., Charles Junior Taylor & wife, Lola Mae of Stinnett, Ky., & Glen Allen Taylor of Stinnett, Ky. Treasured grandchildren; Misty Wells (Jamie), Angie Taylor, Terry Taylor & (Renee), Patricia Taylor, Blake Taylor, and a host of treasured great-grandchildren.
