Arthur Bowling

Mr. Arthur "Chigger" Bowling, age 74, of 2544 Leeco Rd., Wooton, KY., departed this life on May 18, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  Arthur was the son of the late Mallie Hensley Bowling and Roy Bowling.  He lived in Leslie County the majority of his life, moving here in 1945.  He was a member of the Apple Orchard Church of Christ and enjoyed carpentry work, gunsmithing, making knives, working on vehicles & 4-wheeling as hobbies.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Elmer Bowling and Ed Bowling and sisters: Rose Bowling, Grace Pennington, Helen Vanover and Gladys Bowling.

Mr. Arthur "Chigger" Bowling leaves the following relatives surviving: Loving and devoted wife of 52 years: Hazel Bowling; daughter: Lisa Renee Tucker of Corbin, KY.; sons: Ellis Ray Bowling & Marcella of Hoskinston, KY., Curtis Leon Bowling & Ruby of Bear Branch, KY. and Robert Wayne Bowling & Lynn of Stinnett, KY.; brothers: Clifton Bowling, Clayton Bowling and Donald Ray Bowling; sisters: Doris Johnson and Lois Adams; special niece: Melinda Bowling; special friends: Charles Begley, Hiram Cornett, Wade Howard and Don Hoskins; grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Bowling, Austin Lane Bowling, Kelly Ann Cornett (James),  Ryan Neal Bowling, Tye Landon Arthur Tucker and step-grandson Nicholas Caldwell.
