Mrs. Lizzie Morgan, age 84, of Stinnett, Ky., was born June 12, 1932 and departed this life on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center. Lizzie was the daughter of the late Bill & Mattie Smith. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County and was affiliated with the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed sewing, working in the garden and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Caleb Morgan; son: Elvis Morgan; sister: Chloe Howard; brothers: Dave Smith, Troy Smith, Roy Smith, Raymond Smith, Cleophas Smith and Winferd Smith and son-in-law: Jerry Stephens.
Mrs. Lizzie Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: sons: Winferd Morgan of London, KY., Donnie Morgan of Stinnett, KY., Steven Morgan of Stinnett, KY., Joey & Michelle of Mozelle, KY., Earn Morgan of OH., Ray Morgan of Somerset and Farmer & Judy Hoskins of London, KY.; daughters: Eva Stephens of Stinnett, KY., Jackie Roberts & Elmer of Smilax, KY., Mavie Bowling of Stinnett, KY., Fern Elam of Hoskinston, KY. and Wilma & Larry Cantrell of MI.; sisters: Emma Morgan of MI., Eva Jean Hogard & Dale of MI. and Audrey Morgan of Hoskinston, KY. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survive.
