Diana Melton

Diana Napier Melton born January 24, 1948 departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.  She was 69 years old. Diana was born at Thousandsticks, Ky., the daughter of the late Mack Napier & Bonnie Young Napier.  Diana was employed as florist & floral designer at Flowers on Main, Hyden, Ky. She was a devoted member of the Central Presbyterian Church EPC, Hyden, Ky.  Diana was an excellent cook.  She enjoyed University of Kentucky athletics, attending church, & most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Diana Melton was preceded in death by her parents & one sister; Linda Collett.  Mrs. Diana Melton leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted husband; Richard P. "Dickie" Melton of Hyden, Ky., one beloved son; Paul Melton & wife, Cara Mae of Tampa, Florida, one beloved daughter; Genia Marie Melton, Hyden, Ky., two brothers; William Napier & wife, Gracie of Hyden, Ky., Willard Napier of Hyden, Ky., two sisters; Bobbie Deaton & husband, Dale of Versailles, Ky., Mary Ann Hoskins & husband, Pat, of London, Ky., three treasured grandchildren; Annie Marie Melton, Kannon Brock Melton, Brodie Kyle Melton, special nephew, Kyle Napier & wife, Leighanna, grand-nephew, Zachary Paul Conor Napier & a host of other relatives and friends including her brothers and sisters in Christ.
