Charles Robert Calvert, Sr., "Big Bobby",  born December 20, 1956 departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Miami Valley Hosptital, Dayton, Ohio.  He was 60 years old.  Charles Robert Calvert, Sr. was born in Chicago, Illinois the son the late Harry Calvert & Shirley Ann Castle.  Charles Robert lived the majority of his life in Dayton, Ohio however he had been a resident of Leslie Co., Ky. for the past 10 months.  Charles Robert served honorably in the United State Marines.  He was a delivery truck driver.  He enjoyed 4-wheeling & most importantly attending family events.  Mr. Charles Robert Calvert, Sr., "Big Bobby" was preceded in death by his parents, one beloved daughter; Regina K. Calvert, two beloved sons; Thomas Lee Calvert, Charles Robert Calvert, Jr., one treasured grandson; Jadon Calvert; brothers; Donald Ray Calvert, Larry Castle,  & step-father, Lavern Kindell.  Mr. Charles Robert Calvert, Sr., " Big Bobby" leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife; Christina Lewis Calvert, brothers; Jeffrey Calvert of Dayton, Ohio, Dale Warren & Norma of Texas, sisters; Sabrina Smith & Tony of Bear Branch, Ky., Dreama Booher & Dale, of Kettering, Ohio, treasured grandsons; Zachary Calvert, Ryan Calvert, Leland Calvert and a host of other relatives and friends.

 2:00 p.m. - Tuesday - April 25, 2017 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky.
