Hershel Williams

Hershel "Tiny" Williams was born on June 16, 1958, in Hazard, KY., the son of Leetha Williams & the late Bud Williams. He passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY., at the age of 58. Hershel had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Hershel was a retired coal miner, having been employed by Whitaker Coal Co.  He was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, long drives & especially spending time with his family.

Hershel was preceded in death by his loving father, Bud Williams, grandparents, Burley & Maggie Williams & Jack & Lila Williams & step-father, Elbert Pace. He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted mother, Leetha Wiliams Pace, Hyden, KY., loving & devoted wife, Leisa Daniels Williams, Smilax, KY., beloved daughter, Amanda Marie Joyce Williams, Smilax, KY., brother, Gary Williams & Frances, Somerset, KY., friends close as a brother, Danny Campbell, Kelly Campbell & Jimmy Hayes, step-sisters, Evelyn Pace, Joanne Lewis, Linda Cox & Sharon Pace, 4 nephews, 8 nieces, 5 great nephews & 3 great nieces. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
