Mr. Douglas Adams born July 28, 1952 departed this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the ST. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Ky. He was 64 years old. Douglas was born in Hyden, Ky., the son of the late John H. Adams & Addie Mitchell Adams. Douglas was a former coal miner & was employed as a fork-lift operator for Pepsi & Durobag. He was a former resident of Leslie Co., and had been a resident of Bromley, Ky., for the past 35 years. Douglas had a strong work ethic & cherished his family. Mr. Douglas Adams was preceded in death by his parents & one sister, Patsy Ann Mitchell. Mr. Douglas Adams leaves the following relatives surviving: loving and devoted wife; Brenda McCowan Adams of Bromley, Ky., one beloved son; Douglas Dwayne Adams, Jr. of Bromley, Ky., and a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
