Mr. Walter Bernard Morgan of Asher, KY departed this life on Saturday-Feb. 25, 2017. He was born on Sept. 23, 1975 in Hyden, KY the son of Dwight Morgan & Donna Hoskins. Walter was a coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling and spending time with his family and his 2 dogs: "Ginger" and "Little Baby". Bernie was affiliated with the New Hope Church of God.
Bernie was preceded in death by Grandmothers: Ruth Hall and Wilma Mosley. Grandfathers: Walter Bernard Morgan and Doyle Mosley.
He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife; Marlana Hoskins Morgan of Asher, KY. biological mother; Donna Hoskins Williams of Clay Co., Ky., father, Dwight Morgan & wife, Belle, of Hindman, KY., mom; Pamela Osborne & husband J.C. Osborne II of Sizerock, Ky., Grandparents, Don Hoskins & Stella, Asher, KY. 1 Son: Christian Collett of Roark, KY, 2 Daughters: Camron Lawson of Asher, KY, Kassidy Collett of Roark, KY, 2 Brothers: Dwight Vernon Morgan & wife, Kristin of Richmond, Ky, Blake McWhorter & wife, Ashley of Clay Co., Ky., 3 Sisters: Catrina Boggs & husbnad, Eric of Stinnett, KY, Angela Jones & husband, Brandon of Bear Branch, KY, Miranda Walters & husband, John of Lion Fork, KY, mother-in-law; Nena Short of Knoxville, TN. Special friends: David Green & Danny Lloyd Hoskins, also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
