Christine Hoard

Christine Muncy Hoard of Hyden, KY., was born on December 10, 1940 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, John Marshall Muncy & the late, Hattie Marie Begley Muncy. She passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. at the age of 76. Christine had been a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Michigan for 7 years. She was a homemaker & was a member of the Anna C. Brush Memorial Presbyterian Church at Dryhill, KY. Christine was a former troop leader of Boy Scouts of America, had been a volunteer for the Hyden Nursing Home. She deeply loved all Children & had baby-sit for many generations.

Christine was preceded in death by, her parents, one beloved son, Russell "Rusty" Allen Hoard, brothers, Lloyd Muncy & John "Buddy" Muncy, Jr. & his wife, Christine, sister, Susan Joyce Muncy Bunch & her husband, Jim, ex-husband, Russell Hoard & special friend, Lonzo Guerra. She leaves the following relatives surviving, one beloved daughter, Wendlyn "Wendy" Bentley & Tommy, Hyden, KY., brothers, Bill Muncy & Peggy, Fostoria, MI. Allen Muncy, Hyden, KY., Philip Muncy & Chesney, Hyden, KY. & Vernon Muncy & Charlyn , Hyden, KY., sister, Peggy Muncy Buckle, Hyden, KY., Grandchildren, Brandon, Jimmy, Corey, Hayden & Kayla Gay & Tray, Great-Grandchildren, Adrian, Gabriel & Nash. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Friday, February 17, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Anna C. Brush Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dryhill, KY.
