Jerry Farmer Asher

Mr. Jerry Farmer Asher, 59, of Warbranch, Ky., departed this life on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on Nov. 4, 1957 at Beverly, KY the son of Opal Brock Asher of Beverly, KY and the late Farmer Asher.  By occupation he was a retired coal miner having worked for LeeCo Coal Co.. Jerry was affiliated with the Riverside Baptist Church and had been a life-long resident of Clay County, KY. He enjoyed working and restoring cars, antiques and also wood working as hobbies. Jerry Asher was preceded in death by his father:Farmer Asher, wife: Kathy Asher. He leaves surviving the following relatives  his loving and devoted mother:Opal Brock Asher of Beverly, KY, two sons: James Farmer Asher & Laura of Lexington, KY, Jericho Taylor Asher of East Bernstadt, KY, three daughters: Rebecca Marie Asher of East Bernstadt, KY, and Jessa Layne Asher & Thor Adams of Richmond, KY, Sonya Sizemore of Barbourville, Ky., two brothers: Lloyd Ray Asher & Lola of Beverly, KY and Darrell Asher & Mary of Burning Springs, KY, one sister: Della Mae Asher of Warbranch, KY, five grandchildren: Nicholas James Taylor Walker, Aaliyah Marie Walker, Maggie Layne Thompson, Salem Jade Adams and James Noble Asher.
