Sarah Jane Couch

Sarah Jane Couch was born on October 10, 1930, at Collins Fork, KY. the daughter of the late, Oscar Sizemore & the late Flora Miller Sizemore. She passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at her residence at the age of 86. Sarah Jane had been  a life-long resident of Leslie County. She was a loving & devoted homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, going to church, flowers, sitting on her porch & spending time with her family. Sarah Jane had been a member of the Jim Sizemore Holiness Church for 62 years.

Sarah Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her step-dad, Mitchell Napier, one son, Tex Mason Couch, sister, Alice Sizemore, Granddaughter, Gail Williams, Grandsons, H.C. "Shorty"  Williams & Douglas Causey & great grandson, Nicholas Couch. She leaves the following relatives surviving, her loving & devoted husband, Elijah Couch, of 70 years, whom she married on July 5, 1947, one son, Wilkie Lee Couch & wife, Carrie, Hyden, KY., one daughter, Wanda Gail Ellis & husband, Jeff, Hyden, KY., two brothers, Bobby Sizemore & wife, Annie, Hyden, KY. & Ott Sizemore, Bear Branch, KY., two sisters, Thelma Sargent, Louisville, KY. & Zora Young, Batavia, OH., two grandsons, Elijah Causey & Roger Lee Couch & Christy, two granddaughters, Levon Widner & husband, Rusty & Angie Williams, seven great-grandsons, James, Alex, Christopher, Lee, Pleas, Gabriel, Bobby, three great-granddaughters, Sarah, Jessica & Charlee Grace & three great-great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

FUNERAL:
Tuesday, January 31, 2017 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Jim Sizemore Holiness Church at Bear Branch, KY.

Beginning Sunday, January 29, 2017 @ 6:00 P.M. & all day Monday, until time of funeral at the Church
