THE OBITUARY OF TOMMY HOLLAND

      Mr. Tommy Holland, 83, of Bear Branch, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky. Tommy was born on February 27, 1933 in Leslie County the son of the late Will Holland and the late Millie Collins Holland.  He was a retired coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Tommy was an avid hunter, faithful about attending church and spending time with his family. He was a  devoted member of the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church.  Mr. Tommy Holland  was preceded in death by his parents: Will and Millie Holland, 1 brother: Telford Holland, 2 sisters: Dora Holland Coyle and Bessie Holland Jones. Survivors include his loving and devoted Wife: Jessie A. Holland whom he married on July 31, 1953, a beloved Daughter: Patricia Diana Rice and Earnel of Hyden, KY, Step-Daughter: Ellen Fisher & Douglas  of Springfield, OH, Step-Son: James Larry Jones & Helen of Sizerock, KY, Three Brothers: Will Jr. Holland  and Jimmy Holland  both of Bear Branch, Ky and John Henry Holland of London, KY, Four Sisters: Martha Burns, Sophia Allen, Ida Gibson and Mallie Osborne all of London, KY, Six Grandchildren: Kimberly A. Blanton Moore & Floyd, Barbara A. Smith & Allen, Jamie Jones & Pam, Marty Jones & Shirley, Robert  Knasel & Crissi & Kelvin Knasel, Nine Great Grandchildren: Trae Moore, Andrea Couch, Jared Couch, Sylvia Bowling, James Raleigh Jones, James Dalton Jones, Landon W. Jones, Thomas Smith & Cristian Knasel, Two Great Great Grandchildren:  Maeleigh Rhayn Moore & Brianna Bowling. Tommy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other treasured relatives & friends.


FUNERAL SERVICES:
1:00 P.M. - Wednesday- January 18, 2017 at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church at Bear Branch, KY
VISITATION:
5:00 p.m. -Monday - January 16, 2017 and all day Tuesday at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church.
OFFICIATING MINISTERS:
Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland, Rev. Teddy Couch, Rev. Randy Woods an any other ministers who wish to speak.
PLACE OF INTERMENT:

Henry Collins Family Cemetery at Bear Branch, KY
