Walter Dean Begley

Walter Dean Begley, of Hyden, KY., was born on March 30, 1948 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Theo Begley & the late, Ollie Morgan Begley. He passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 68. Dean was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, by occupation he was a construction worker & surface coal miner. He enjoyed watching U.K. sports especially basketball, "muscle cars" & spending time with his family. Dean was affliated with the Short Creek Baptist Church & Hyden Baptist Church.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Bobby Lane Begley & 1 sister, Mildred Porter. He leaves the following relatives surviving, 1 son, Floyd Dean Begley & Dianah, Hyden, KY., 1 daughter, Jadeanna Begley, Hyden, KY., 3 brothers, Charles Begley, Fairfield, OH., Jack Begley, Hyden, KY. & James Begley & Sue, Lebanon, TN., 3 sisters, Audrey Hall, Fairfield, OH., Margaret Ann Sherrell & Charles, Fairfield, OH. & Janie Rice & Donnie, London, KY., 4 treasured grandchildren, Sicily Begley, Kessler Begley, Sophie Begley & River Begley. Also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive.

Wednesday, January 11, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
