The obituary of Mr. Kermit Davidson

      Mr. Kermit Davidson born July 15, 1950 departed this life on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his residence.  He was 66 years old.  Kermit was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Noah Davidson & Mary Collins Davidson.  Kermit was a retired coal miner & member of the Hyden Volunteer Fire Department. He was a devoted member of the Davidson Fork church of God.  Kermit enjoyed fishing, hunting, ATV riding, going to church & most importantly spending time with his family.  Kermit was preceded in death by his parents, his loving and devoted wife, Shirley Davidson, grandson; Dougie Melton, two brothers; Walter & Tinsley Davidson.  Mr. Kermit Davidson leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved son; Kermit Dwayne Davidson & wife, Shonda, of Thousandsticks, Ky., beloved daughter; Beverly Melton & husband; Rick of Garrard, Kentucky, four brothers; Bill Davidson of Thousandsticks, Ky., Curt Davidson & wife, Sue of Ohio, Carl Davidson & wife, Wanda, of Hamilton, Ohio, Thurman Davidson & wife, Gwen, of Thousandsticks, Ky., two sisters; Helen Guthrie of Hamilton, Ohio, Martha Emma Napier & husband, Don, of Thousandsticks, Ky., nine treasured grandchildren; Brooke Bowling, Lanaya Bowling, Dwight Davidson, Conner Davidson, Gracie Davidson, Landon Davidson, Kevin Melton, John Melton, Jody Melton, six treasured great-grandchildren; Lashay Melton, Ariya Mosley, Cayson Hoskins, Arizona Davidson, Alexander Davidson & Atticus Davidson.

 1:00 P.M. - Monday- December 26, 2016 at the Davidson Fork Church of God, Thousandsticks, Ky

 4:00 p.m. - Saturday - December 24, 2016, all day Sunday until the funeral hour Monday at the Davidson Fork Church of God, Thousandsticks, Ky

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Collins Family Cemetery, Wild Dog, Bear Branch, Ky.
