Joyce Anna Eversole, 58, of Metamora, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Fayette Regional Health in Connersville, Indiana. She was born December 15, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, and is the daughter of Herbert Harris and Wilba Jones Harris, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 29, 1975, she married Jerry Eversole in Richmond, Indiana. She was a member of Blooming Grove Family Worship Center. She enjoyed spending her time gold panning and being with her grandchildren. Along with her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jerry McGrew (Jessica) Eversole, of Metamora, Indiana, Jarrod E. “Bub” (Ryan) Eversole, of Liberty, Indiana, and Jerricho (Crystal) Eversole, of Brookville, Indiana; one brother, Ronald Wayne Harris, of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Shirley Eversole, of Richmond, Indiana, Connie (Arlie) Lewis, of Centerville, Indiana, Linda (Tony) Rizzo, of Richmond, Indiana, and Teresa Campbell, of Richmond, Indiana, as well as eight grandchildren, Jerry Austin, Jordan, Jase, Kara Ann, Aden, Payton, Madison, and Dalton Eversole. She is also survived by a special nephew, Carson Reed (Mary) Eversole, of Liberty, Indiana, and a special niece, Poshia (Nick) Slusher, of Metamora, Indiana. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Lester Harris, Herbert Ervin Harris Jr., and Johnny Harris, and one sister, Audrey Arlene Harris Eversole. The service for Mrs. Eversole will be Saturday, December 17, at 10:00am at Neace Memorial Church, 155 Neace Memorial Lane, Lost Creek, KY, with Pastor Tom Marshall of Blooming Grove Family Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at Eversole Cemetery in Confluence, Kentucky. Visitation for immediate family will be Friday, December 16, from 4-5pm at the church. Friends may join them from 5-9pm. Local arrangements were handled by Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville, Indiana, and Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky.
