Daniel Lewis

Mr. Daniel Lewis born March 16, 1951 departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky.,  Daniel was born at Hyden, KY, the son of the late Bill Lewis and the late Florence Vanover Lewis. By occupation he was a retired construction worker. Daniel was affiliated with the Baptist Churh and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY.  He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  Daniel was preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Florence Lewis, 1 son: Jeffery Keith Lewis, two sisters: Barbara Washburn and Evelyn Bowling.  He leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Reatta Young Lewis of Wooton, KY, 1 daughter: Melissa Collins & Jimmy of London, KY,  2 brothers: Harry Lewis and Dave Lewis both of Wooton, KY, 3 sisters: Lorraine Wooton of Wooton, KY, Joan Lewis of Somerset, KY, and Loretta Salon of Louisville, KY, 1 grandchild: Kevin Keith Napier & Casey and 2 great grandchildren: Levi Napier and Jenna Napier.
