Mrs. Carrie Cornett age 90 passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. She was born on May 26, 1926 the daughter of the late Monroe"tom Cat" Wooton and the late Nola Vanover Wooton. Carrie was a homemaker by occupation and she had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY, She enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, her beloved animals, cooking and attending church. Carrie was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents: Monroe and Nola Wooton, husband: Frank Cornett, 4 sisters, and 1 brother. Carrie leaves surviving the following relatives: 4 sons: Richard & Jennie Cornett of Lacey, WA, Patrick & Nina Cornett of Wooton, KY, Adrian & Donna Cornett of Blair, OK, Kevin & Cyndi Cornett of Cedar Hill, MO, 1 daughter: Phyllis & Bill Puckett of Georgetown, KY, 1 brother: Curtis & Shirley Wooton of Wooton, KY, 1 sister: Attie Pennington of Yeaddiss, KY, 15 grandchildren: Carrie Beth & Dwayne , Patrick, Candace & Lesley, Savannah & Heath, Robert, Sami Jo, Shelby, Alyson, Tashena, Shaun, Heather & Abel, Jessica & Justin, Susan & Jammie, Sherrie & Spencer, and Song-Mi Kang, 19 great grandchildren: Ariel, Maddison, Cameron, Devin & Tori, Casey, Kayla & Zack, Aiden, Parker, Weslee, Paige, Dylan, Hunter, Wyatt, Nyssa, Lily, Noah, Naomi, Misty and Eugene.
