      Mr. L.C. Rice, 87, of Ky. Highway 1484, Buckhorn, Ky., was born on August 1, 1929 at Shoal, KY, the son of the late, Granville Rice & the late, Milda Spurlock Rice. He departed this life on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his residence. L.C. had been a life-long resident of Buckhorn, KY. By occupation he was a retired custodian for the Perry County School & was a retired farmer. He was affliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. L.C. enjoyed trading, farming-stock & spending time with his family.

L.C. was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Randy Rice & a host of brothers & sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted wife, whom he married March 11, 1953, Helen Marie Rice, Buckhorn, KY., beloved sons, Richard Rice & Rebecca, Saul, KY., Darryl Rice & Rebecca J., Saul, KY. & David Rice, Saul, KY., beloved daughters, Pearl Estep & Monroe, Saul, KY. & Euna Mae Barger & Arthur Jr., Indiana, brothers, Paul Rice & Bessie, Austin, Ind., Roberson 'Bob" Rice & Delphia, Austin, Ind. & Cile Bowling, Austin, Ind., sisters, Milda Pearl Gibson, Louisville, KY. & Ollie Logston, Florida, grandchildren, Amanda Couch, Christopher Estep, Rodney Bowling, Angela Singleton, Sharon Couch, R.P. Rice, Samuel L.C. Rice, Randall Rice, Justin Rice & Kansas Rice, 9 great-grandchildren, special friends, John "Pumpkin" Combs, Dexter Howard, Johnny Watts & Sheriff Les Burgett. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
