James Colwell

Mr. James Colwell was born on May 27, 1942, in Leslie County, KY., the son of the late, Elihue Colwell & the late, Cynthia Huff Colwell. He passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. at the age of 74. James had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired coal miner. James was a member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ at Busy, KY. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search & spending time with his family. 

James was preceded in death by his parents, loving & devoted wife, Zelma Colwell & brothers, Elihue Jr. Colwell, Estil Colwell, Bobby Joe Colwell & William Ray Colwell. He leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved sons, James Timothy Colwell & Sandra K., Busy, KY., David Ray Colwell & Courtney, Atlanta, GA. & Ronald Wayne Colwell & Donielle Wilson, Busy, KY., beloved daughter, Ruth Ann Colwell, Busy, KY., sisters, Eva Jean Hollingsworth & Everett, Oh. & Mydia Belle Kidd, OH., treasured grandchildren, Grace Colwell, Olivia Colwell, Ronald Donovan Colwell, Timothy Colwell & Eli Sizemore. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
