Lelia Mae Caldwell of Yeaddiss, KY. was born on February 13, 1947 at Yeaddiss, KY., the daughter of the late, Nick Boggs & the late, Mattie Pennington Boggs. She passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 69. Lelia had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. By occupation she was a former art teacher at the Hayes Lewis Elementary School at Yeaddiss, KY. Lelia was a member of the Baker Fork Church of Christ. Her hobbies were drawing, art, flowers, gardening, spending time at her cabin & especially spending time with her family.
Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ben, Forrester, Johnny & Carl Boggs & sister, Beulah Faye Caldwell. She leaves the following relatives surviving, her loving & devoted husband, Boone Caldwell, whom she married on October 29, 1966 & had celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, October 29, 2016, beloved daughter, Rhonda Caldwell, Yeaddiss KY., brother, James Boggs & wife, Joyce, Yeaddiss, KY., sisters, Shirley Lewis & husband, Hurlen, Yeaddiss, KY., Irene Boggs, Yeaddiss, KY., Gail Baker & husband, Clayton, Yeaddiss, KY. & Donna Kay Farler, Yeaddiss, KY., brother-in-law, Dale Caldwell, Jr., sister-in-law, Sandy Boggs, special pet dog "Sugar" & special friend, Bonnie Wilder. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
